158p engraved frontispiece small format (16mo?) rebound long ago in full calf, the spine with raised bands and stamped in blind with leaf motifs, the covers blind-stamped within a gilt-ruled perimeter spine rubbed at joints and chipped to a small extent at top and bottom, some pages show foxing, and there are some small stains in margins - otherwise a good enough copy (University plays. See the Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature (Ed.: F.W.Bateson), Cambridge, 1940, p.659.)
