Please search or browse our inventory, which comprises not only out-of-print, used, and scarce books but also very many recent, scholarly, unreviewed review copies. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE CHARGE POSTAGE AND PACKING AT COST, the only fair system. When ordering through this site, the correct postage and packing charge will NOT appear; this will vary in every case according to the weight and destination of the parcel. To repeat: POSTAGE AND PACKING IS AT COST SO IGNORE ANY FIGURE THAT IS SHOWN, they being given only because the programme does not allow us to leave a blank or to insert words.We have a large selection of antique MAPS AND PRINTS. The maps are of English counties and the prints are mainly (but by no means entirely) British topographical views. All are mounted in acid-free conservation board and nearly all of them, the biggest excepted, are in mounts which are of standard size. This means that frames can be acquired very much more cheaply from the retailer than from the picture-framer. Many of our maps and prints can be viewed on eBay in our shop ( polesworthantiqueprintsshop ). We do recommend that you visit our shop on eBay; you will soon realise that we offer excellent items at very reasonable prices (which include the 20% V.A.T. payable on prints acquired from V.A.T.-registered dealers). |
